NCERT Content Partner
On the occasion of National Mathematics Day 2025 at IIT Delhi, IIVA proudly collaborated with the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and became an NCERT Content Partner, marking a significant milestone in advancing mathematics education in India. This collaboration reflects a shared vision to strengthen mathematics learning, promote skill-based and practical education, support teachers and students with enriched learning resources, and integrate innovation and technology into modern education. The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, is a premier organization dedicated to entrepreneurship training, consultancy, and skill development. IIVA is authorized by NIESBUD, reflecting its commitment to quality education and professional training standards.
As of March 31, 2025, NIESBUD has trained over 16.9 lakh individuals through 61,000+ training programs since its inception, including 5,600+ international participants from 145+ countries worldwide.
Objective of IIVA
The Indian Institute of Vedic Maths and Abacus (IIVA) strives to make Abacus and Vedic Maths recognized globally as skill development courses which boost mental math skills, brain development, concentration, memory power, logical reasoning, and calculation speed in both kids and teachers. IIVA endeavors to provide career opportunities for women, youth, teachers, and budding entrepreneurs by organizing government-certified teacher training programs, skill courses, and education-related entrepreneurial ventures.
Focusing on creating a robust eco-system of Abacus classes, Vedic Maths training, and mental math, IIVA seeks to create jobs for both men and women, besides developing their expertise in Abacus classes and related subjects while providing ample opportunities of employment and self-employment for people across India and worldwide. Once successfully completing the courses, the learners will get an opportunity to take part in practical sessions through on-the-job training.
For a better learning process of mathematics, IIVA has also come up with an innovation named the ‘Digital Abacus Tool’, which is specifically aimed at making online Abacus teaching and interactive classroom training easier.
